Travel
To take a break from UWaterloo, I like to travel to see my friends at other universities.
Here is my subjective ranking on the food served at those universities.
1. UofT
Amazing asian food, and walking distance to many restaurants on Yonge or in Kensington. Toronto is the most diverse city in the world, and its food lives up that name.
|
2. UMich
Ann Arbor has many small, charming restaurants. Shalimar in particular has great Indian food.
|
3. UCLA
On-campus dining halls are unreal. Off-campus food can be more unhealthy and expensive (which I guess is typical of LA). Got to see cool Coco robots delivering them though 🤖.
|
4. Brown
Wide array of cuisines in the dining hall. Restaurants/cafes in Providence also have a nice small-town feel to them.
|
5. Georgia Tech
Panda express.
|
6. Dalhousie
Not many dining options around Dalhousie, but some seafood restaurants further away are quite good.

World
Among other cities, I grew up between Shanghai, Beijing, and Toronto.
I'm a fan of basketball, so I hope to get good enough one day to play with locals wherever I go.
